Abstract

Blandishment refers to set of strategic behaviors aimed at influencing others by highlighting the appeal of one’s personal qualities. It can involve actions like offering compliments or performing favors for superiors or colleagues. This study aims to investigate how the Blandishing behavior of bank employees impacts performance evaluation in a public & Private sector of Baluchistan. Banking sector comprising five different departments: Operations Department, Treasury Department, Risk management Department, Human resources Department and Compliance Department. Further; 85 questionnaires were filled by bankers and results showed there is significant positive but weak impact of blandishment on employee performance evaluation also there was significant weak relationship between variables indicating people of Baluchistan uses blandishment on some context that also work for them in evaluation of their performance, hence both null hypotheses were rejected based on results of data analysis.
