Title The Role of Micro-Financing in Enhancing Women Empowerment: An Evidence from District Pakpattan, Punjab

Abstract

This mix method research consists of 238 samples out of estimation 600 papulation including only women borrowers. This research was undertaken to investigate the ideas of microloans and women's empowerment in the context of Pakistan. In the first stage, qualitative technique was used to interviews and focus group discussions women who received microloans from Kashf Foundation (KF), Mobilink Microfinance Bank and Khushali Bank (KB). In the second phase, a quantitative analysis was used to cross sectional surrevy and determine how microloans are related to women's empowerment. The quantitative investigation found a significantly associated between microloans and women's empowerment. The purpose of the study was to analyze the following factors in particular: economic empowerment performance, political empowerment performance and social empowerment performance in district pakpattan. The reasons why people utilize micro credit and the percentage of women that do so are discussed. The  influence of credit on women empowerment activities is positive and negative. How loan usage impacts on with women lives especially in district pakpattan shrif.
