Exploring Legal Violence and Abuse in the Criminal Justice System: Addressing Torture, Prison Conditions, and Police Training

Abstract
This research article examines the issue of legal violence and abuse within the criminal justice system. The article delves into the various forms of violence and abuse, such as torture, that are commonly practiced in police stations and prisons. It explores the linkages between investigation, interrogation, and arrest, and how these practices contribute to the perpetuation of violence and abuse. Additionally, the article highlights the need for special rules to protect women and juveniles, and how these rules are often manipulated to perpetuate violence and abuse against these vulnerable populations. The article also analyzes the current state of prison rules and how they fail to adequately address the issue of legal violence and abuse. Finally, the article proposes reforms to police training and structures, arguing that such reforms are necessary to effectively combat the issue of legal violence and abuse in the criminal justice system.
