Title Consumer Buying Behaviour in Cantonment Market Lahore, Pakistan
AuthorsRANA IRAM TAHIR
Abstract

Consumer behavior research is essential since it enables businesses to enhance their marketing plans. It aids in comprehending consumer perceptions of various brands and goods (Saeed, 2019). The current study aimed to know the buyer behavior in cantonment area markets of Lahore city, by considering buyer mood theory and buyer impulse theory. A survey method has been used to collect the data. For this purpose, a 4-point Likert scale has been generated. The questionnaire contained 12 statements; six statements under each theory i.e. buyer mood theory and buyer impulse theory. The collected data has been analyzed in SPSS by applying a cross-tabulation test on it. The results have been shown in percentages. The results have proved both the theories and exhibited that a positive mood and a pleasant environment put a positive impression on the consumers. Moreover, they like shopping when they are happy and welldecorated shops and markets have a good impact on the buyers.
Keywords: Consumer Behavior, Buyer Behavior, Mood Theory, Impulse Theory, Buying Behavior.
