Abstract
This study explores the lived experiences of two students with learning and developing a constructively aligned course at the postgraduate level. Two private university students were selected in a class about developing constructively aligned courses. A semi-structured interview guide was used to collect data, which was interpreted through profiling and the thematic analysis technique. This revealed that both participants had some prior knowledge of developing a constructively aligned course but did not use this approach in their professional careers. The participant who did not know about it came from different educational backgrounds, so they struggled with learning and developing the course at the initial stage and used different books and internet resources to overcome this problem while their instructor guided them side-by-side. However, both found this course very informative and helpful. Students need some prerequisite courses before studying constructively aligned courses at the postgraduate level.
