Psychological Capital and its Effect on Employee Creativity and Employee well being: Mediating Role of Organizational Commitment

Abstract
The study aimed at examining psychological capital and its effect on employee creativity and employee well being: mediating role of organizational commitment. Employees in any organization are considered a valuable asset for gaining and sustaining competitive advantage. The study was cross sectional in nature. 700 questionnaires were distributed the author received 356 filled questionnaires out of which 30 questionnaires were incomplete and have not been included in the analysis. The analysis is based on 316 properly filled questionnaires forming a response rate of 45.14%. Data was collected using 5 point likert scale. The results of the study showed that psychological capital was found to have significant effect on employee creativity, psychological capital was found to have significant effect on employee well being, organizational commitment mediated the relationship between psychological capital and employee creativity furthermore, organizational commitment mediated the relationship between psychological capital and employee well being.
