Four Integrated MCDM Models for Construction Contractors Selection Application at Al-Quds University

Abstract
Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) is concerned with achieving the best possible outcomes in complex scenarios involving multiple indicators, conflicting objectives, and criteria. Numerous MCDM types, including the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions (TOPSIS), the Best Worst Method (BWM), and the Multi-Objective Optimization Method by Ratio Analysis (MOORA), are available to address a variety of decision-making problems. In a construction project, specifically when selecting a contractor, MCDM techniques are considered one of the best ways to choose the right contractor taking into consideration the financial, technical, administrative, and other aspects which ensure the best implementation of the project. In this paper, four different integrated MCDM models have been proposed for the contractor selection at Al-Quds University. These proposed integrated models are AHP-TOPSIS, AHP-MOORA, BWM-TOPSIS, and BWM-MOORA. The results of the four integrated models were validated and compared to each other.
