The goal of this study is to uncover characteristics that influence the efficacy of Pakistan's software development sector, particularly in Peshawar, Pakistan such as job stress, risk management, outsourcing, maintenance costs, and effort estimation. The software sector in Peshawar has apparently overlooked the significance of these variables. Cronbach's Alpha reliability (α) analysis was used to assess the consistency of the variables. The impact of these variables was investigated using regression analysis. The findings show that these parameters have a generally positive and significant association and effect on effective software development. The study adds to our understanding of software development because there has been relatively little research done in Pakistan to identify factors that have a substantial impact on software development effectiveness.
