Impact of Health Spending on Economic Growth: Empirical Application for the Case of Tunisia

Abstract
In the present paper, we examine the impact of health expenditures on Tunisian GDP falling on the period 1961-2010 and using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag approach by Pesaran and al. (2001). Our results show That there is a stable long -run relationship between, GDP, health expenditure, labor and capital. On the other hand, the results of the causality test show that there is a bidirectional causal flow from health expenditures to income, both, in the short and in the long run.
